Hayward Fishery & Restaurant

I have been back to this restaurant several time over the last couple
years to give them "one more chance". I'll never go back again.
Fried foods are delivered to the table cold and greasy, at times the
service really sucks; last time I ordered swordfish it was overcooked
and smelled strongly of iodine.

The Hayward Fishery is gone! It has been gone for a while now, and there
is another restaraunt there now.

A little pricey for my taste, but the food is good. I do agree that
the place is a little crowded!

This restaurant is a great place to eat if you like seafood.
Unfortunately, I am a vegetarian, and they had no vegetarian entrees
on the menu. I had to order a dinner salad which was average at best.
They should add a few vegetarian entrees for those of us who are
forced to eat out with seafood loving families.

Outstanding seafood. Began life years ago as a bait shop, then a fish
store, and now is one of the original "California"-style seafood
restaurants.
Besides having terrific fish, here are a couple of "tips" for "those
in the know"... No longer on the menu but still available are the
