Surpising gem in Pier 39

Peaceful, quiet (!), beautiful views of the Bay, excellent meal and service. A fantastic break from the hustle and kitsch outside. I like Japanese cuisine, but had never had a "lava rock" self-cooking experience.

Highly recommend!

Great place to get away from the crowds on the pier. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were seated at table with a wonderful view of the bay. The lunch was delicious and we all felt better after having lunch in this relaxing venue.
