I took my young aspiring artist. She and I both loved our tour. We called ahead, and they waited for us. We learned a lot [A WHOLE LOT] about Atlanta history that we never knew before. Planning to return and take the rest of our family, too.

This center for African-American art is located in an old Victorian house.

Attend lectures, from artists and authors, and browse the paintings, photographs, and other artwork at the Hammonds House Museum. The museum is named after Dr. Otis Hammonds, a physician and art lover who had over 250 pieces in his collection. Hammonds owned the home in the 1970s, but the house dates back to about 1872.
