This is a very affordable weave stylist. Ive been to her 3 times in 2 years my hair is natural and I wanted someone who could deal with that. My hair is natural and thick Im tender headed so I don't want to deal with most stylists. I've dealt with a lot of fakes and immature girls who try to do hair I took a chance on her and I am glad I did. I still have my edges after growing them back with her when Africans destroyed them. My weave lasted and I keep mines in like 4-5 months.

A few suggestions. 1. Please be very careful and truthful with the products you use. It matters and makes a difference. If you’re coming to a client’s home, please triple check you’re bringing the correct materials. Next, please try to not use products that a customer can purchase in the drug store like Tiresome, we are paying you a premium in order to get better products and care that we can product. 2. Worth the trip to Brooklyn

I had my hair done at an upscale salon I Queens and loved the hair I just couldn't afford the maintenance. I have no complaint about the place in Astoria, the prices are just not feasible for me long term. So then I found this salon on backpage and got the same type of extensions, good quality hair and paid 600. Was embarrassed that I spent almost 3 times that at the other place.

I have had many weaves before Shanda and none come close! I have been a customer since 2008. I have had fusions, microlinks and sew-ins and all have been fantastic!! She always get my hair texture right when matching my hair. You know its good when you fool other weave wearing ladies. I acutally had another stylist compliment my hair and when I later (after feeling guilty) admitted it was a weave she was in SHOCK! I've had weaves in DC, Buffalo, Toronto, Jamaica and Florida and NO one comes close to what Shanda does. I have and will continue to travel back to Shanda for my extensions!
