Ground Floor Cafe & Bakery

Food is great! Owners are nice! Customer service lacking otherwise.. This has been one of my go-to places for a quick lunch that I know will be good, but not sure that it will be anymore. My 2-star review is entirely based on the customer service I received. Everything I've eaten here so far has been great, although I tend to stick to what I like so have not ventured too far on the menu.

Good Quality Food and Service!. I have worked downtown for 12 years and eat out everyday for Breakfast and Lunch. I have compared the food and service for most of the restaurants downtown, and no one comes close to the Quality, Value and especially the Variety the Ground Floor Cafe gives on a daily bases! Special not "special". While you usually can't go wrong with their Park Avenue salad or a sandwich, you take your changes with their "hot" foods that have been sitting under the hot lights for a while. I opted for today's teriyaki glazed tilapia over rice, and the only thing that was edible was the rice. The fish was overcooked to the point that I needed a metal knife (not a plastic one) to cut...

Fast & Friendly!. I hate to admit it, but I eat at the Ground Floor every day! I love their variety, and they are always friendly. Most of the items are made at the restaurant daily, and they have great food. My favorite is the turkey sandwich and caesar salad, and I usually get a bag of their Chocolate Caramel Cookies! Great place to eat for Breakfast or lunch!
