This shopping center has everything you need: Target, Walmart, Sports Chalet, movie theatres, restuarants... you name it.It has a few different parking lots, and parking can suck on the weekends, but overall, I haven't had too much hassle coming here. There are a few 20 minute parking spaces which makes it easy to run in and out when you're on a time crunch.

This shopping center balances perfectly with Westfield Fletcher Parkway Mall just down the road. They do have some of the same shops, but for the most part they are different. My daughter and I went here a few times while we were in La Mesa. There are plenty of places to eat, shop and watch a movie. Parking is a bit tricky because the row you are going down will all of a sudden disappear and you will be going the wrong direction if you are not paying attention.

Nice local theater. Very small in comparison to the heavy hitters like AMC and Regal. It is a bit run down inside but you are there for the movie not to shop for new furniture. Mall in San Diego, CA - Grossmont Center is an outdoor shopping mall in La Mesa, California. Opened in 1961, it features Macy's, Restoration Hardware, Target, and Walmart as its anchor stores. Other major tenants include Barnes & Noble, Cost Plus World Market, and Reading Cinemas. The mall is managed by CBRE Group.

For decades now, Grossmont Center has been East County's hometown shopping mall offering more than 100 stores without the hectic crowds of the bigger malls elsewhere. Free parking all around.
