Smokey Mountains National Park is the most visited National Park in america about 10 million visitors a year. We visited here in July. I do not recommend going at this time. The heat and humidity is unbearable. The traffic is very congested. It feels very...

Loved it, were lucky enough to take a drive in the snow. 441 was closed that day, but hit it the next day and beautiful. I can’t wait to visit again.

A large haze hangs above the mountains, which resulted in the naming of the park. The national park is almost evenly divided in the states of Tennessee and North Carolina. Some of the largest mountain peaks are located in the park. Over 100 native species of trees can be seen.
