Went to a business dinner here on the suggestion of a colleague who lived nearby. Immediately noticed the decor. It's a very cool modern Asian look. Hostess and wait staff were excellent. The fact that our Mint.com budget has a separate breakout for Izakaya Den says something. We are there almost every Friday. Yes it's expensive but so worth it!
We sit upstairs at the bar and enjoy the summers up there even more. Tonight the rooftop and all the walls were totally open. Amazing! The bartender remembers our order from week...

Best sushi ever

This is the best sushi restaurant we have ever been to, including in Japan. Izakaya and Sushi Den share the same kitchen and Sushi Den is consistently ranked as one of the best sushi restaurants in the US. We prefer Izakaya because the atmosphere is a little more intimate. The second floor roof can be rolled back on nice evenings...

A delight at 6 on a Sat. night w/o reservations

Stepping into one of the more talked about Sushi joints in Denver w/o a reservation AND with a music festival going on nearby had us wondering about the........well, we waited less than 5 minutes for a table and were duly impressed by the ambiance, the service (quite attentive.....) and then....THEN.......came the food......
To leave this place without trying the Spicy...
