I have dined at The Godfather numerous times over the last 10 years. I have always received personal, courteous service, enjoyed great food and entertainment. Reasonably priced - great for family or dating! Call for reservations - this place is busy!
"Old-time Italian" just "like back East" is the MO at this "consistently outstanding" strip-mall institution in Kearny Mesa, where rotating dinner specials and "value" prices keep diners "coming back"; other pluses include service that's "right-on-the-money" and "charming", "traditionally decorated" surrounds.

Love this place. Celebrate our anniversary here every year for many, many years now.
First, we need to understand this is not the usual family dinner type Italian restaurant. It is NOT the typical budget south Italian restaurant. This is a pretty decent Italian restaurant - north Italy style, and operates in style.
