An Italian restaurant in a sea of Italian restaurants located in Little Italy New York. I have been to a few of them and many are better. I am not real sure on the authenticity of the place. The mood was Italian, but the food and the vibe was not.

If you walk through Little Italy and are looking for a restaurant which offers good Italian food try Giovanna's. We were there two times and on each visit we had very good pasta or pizza. The service could be a bit more responsive. Be careful the gratuity is already n the bill. Don't add it twice. And yes, they added...

We were to NY during our holiday and dropped into Giovanna's in Little Italy on a crowded saturday afternoon for a nice lunch.
The restaurant seemed to be a nice classic Italian restaurant with a nice outside dining and nice vibe, but unfortunately it was not worth the experience.
The food is overpriced (surprise) and the food does not hold...

We had a nice dinner. We decided to share all the food. We started with eggplant rollatine for our appetizer. The serving size was quite generous- two large rollatines- delicious. In addition we ordered a Mista salad, chicken Marsala, and whole wheat penne with marinara sauce. The salad was brought with the entree. Not sure why it was served this...

The guy who lured us in off the street was a nice guy, and very accommodating. The waiter, on the other hand, was invisible. If it weren't for the bus boys, I might never have gotten my food. Of course, they charged me again for topping off my iced tea, charged me a large party 18% gratuity even though there...
