My parents TV went out, naturally they are older and can't miss an episode of Golden Girls. We called Geek Squad who said they would be out between 12 and 4 on Thursday. We gave them our phone number just in case.
Took the afternoon off work to be there to help answer questions my parents probably wouldn't know about. Decided to call at 2 because we hadn't heard anything. At one point or another we all need computer repair help and I am no different. I found myself in need at the worst possible moment. In the middle night, when everything is closed and the night before a report is due. I called Geek Squad online support for help and was charged for the $199 virus removal service. Geek Squad took their sweet time when it came to fixing my computer that had crashed.
I use my computer for business and time is money.
They help onto my computer for almost an entire month before it was finished.
And by finished, I mean in nearly the same working condition id taken it to them in.
It still wasnt running properly and I couldnt access all my important files.
I was highly upset the work wasnt completed properly, upset Id paid for nearly nothing and upset to think Id have to send it back for another extended period of time.

Ive sent in a laptop and they say there going to update me, so i leave it there for 3 days I had to call THEM to find out if the computer is getting repaired it took me 10 min on the phone to get a response from someone, after and then they tell me that i have to give them the reboot disk.
