To Dr. Youdeem - I mentioned how much I appreciate how she cares for me as her patient. She's just spent a bit of time installing a crown and cleaning up the excess cement (torturing the new tooth into existence, I suppose). She's asked me throughtout if I were okay (meaning comfortable, free of pain or discomfort (whether physical or psychological. She's conscientious and sensitive that way.) After she's finished, I told her that I (sincerely) appreciate her as a doctor, as a dentist. That it was who she is is, how she is when treating me in her chair, that makes the visits to her office worth enduring. I respect her work in its tangible (the crown, for example), and intangible (she's exceptionally kind in how she treats me).
I have never been to a medical provider whose so obvious that all they care about is billing. They actually interrupted my "deep cleaning" that they had to do over two sessions and with lidocaine in order to verify my insurance. The doctor was constantly on her cell phone and pushing more services. The service and actual dental care was subpar and I had to have work redone by another dentist. Avoid!!
I feel compelled to write a review after reading some negative comments on yelp. I ended up going to this dentist because literally only 4 dentists in downtown NYC accept my terrible insurance and...
The hygienist is not licensed and should not b cleaning your teeth the office should be closed down
root canal galore..plus youdeem has been know to scout out people writing negative review on public websites with potential legal action !!

i have a couple of crowns to do overall it wasn't like the comment i saw on this site at all..
and my next appointment is already booked..
