Love food and cocktails
The food and drinks were delicious. The noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation.
Every bite was delicious, the plantains with black beans, tacos, nachos and cocktails!
The food and service is excellent. The prices are fairly reasonable. The problem with Fonda is the noise! They play music even though there is so much noise from people talking and poor acoustics. Why don't they forget playing the music which only adds to the disagreeable level of noise!!
We enjoyed being upstairs because it was a cold night and it was warm and cozy feeling upstairs. We did not realize that it was a tapas place but once we were informed we were pleased because we were able to fit in a salad each and a main dish each without being too full for dessert.

Brunch: Another trendy tapas place, Fonda has the distinction of being owned by the same folks who brought us Jimmy Bean's and Lalime's. The festive two-story restaurant is roomy and fun, with a mixture of furniture styles and colorful accents. Menu stars include a dish of toasted peanuts and pumpkin seeds with garlic and lime, duck and pomegranate tacos with arbol salsa, grilled skirt steak...
