Help us make it rightFlying Saucer is in its 15th year of serving made-from-scratch, organic and locally grown comfort food for vegans & carnivor...es alike. Our popular weekend brunch specials are just that - special. Our regular menu is full of unique twists on traditional diner options, influenced by our love of Mexican and diner fare, with an occasional dash of Hawaii thrown in by chef Danielle Mendiola. We try...
The Flying Saucer has some of the best, most adventurously gourmet diner food of the diner style restaurants in Chicago. It is at once vegan/vegetarian friendly, offering locally grown foods, a venue for great breakfast meats, and wholly unpretentious. It's location in the Humboldt Park area makes The Flying Saucer a somewhat removed, yet worthwhile stop for anyone looking for friendly...
Adorable diner with an excellent tofu sweet potato hash.

Really great food and a homey vibe without being too hipster. Go here for breakfast.
Food is always great and so is the service! They're great with kids-always bring toys for your kids. You do have to ask for water-conservation. Don't forget that it cash only.
Great cobb salad and brunch food. Good decor and friendly people. Thanks for the wonderful brunch!
Really horrendous and rude service. I used to go here often when I lived in the neighborhood (about three years ago) but after today I can say I will not go back ever again.
I always take people here for brunch and we live right down the street. Great food, minus the pretension. Friendly people. Great veg/vegan options but can satisfy meat lovers too! Grits are insane, specials never disappoint. Keep it up, FS crew!
