I went here on a Saturday night about a month ago. I went with 2 of my girls and got there before 10. There was two lines so we asked the bouncer which one was the regular line. He said it is only VIP or bottle service. When we told him there was only three girls he let us in. I thought that was a little shady but knew it was a new place so they can do that. When we got to the top it was a cool view but nothing super exciting. Drinks were pretty expensive and there was no dance floor. I most likely wont there again anytime soon because it wasnt that cool. I much rather go to the Ivy...

The Hard Rock Hotel's outdoor special event space is also connected to Moonstone, so it's often closed during special concerts, holiday events, weddings, etc.
To get to the fourth floor rooftop, enter through the hotel lobby and hang a left in front of the concierge to reach the direct elevator.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights have a guest-list only policy, but enforcement is spotty. Try slipping in a bit early before a line forms--and bouncers get pressured--after 10pm.
