Editorial reviews from the web (2)

This Gordon's location splits the difference between local liquor-store chain and customer service-oriented wine classroom. Although it eschews any semblance of snooty wine snobbery (in fact, it's rather drab, in a corner "packie" sort of… Read More

The flagship Gordon's store has a great selection of bombers and a good selection of 4/6-packs and has recently started allowing packs to be broken up. Prices can sometimes be on the higher end, especially given the size of the place. The people who work here kind of suck and are generally not very knowledgable at all. They don't do any sort of social media postings, but what they have can be...

Rudest female owner I have ever met...do not give them your business...she thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread...she's not...she's rude and inconsiderate...they do not deserve any business...I used them for years...NEVER WILL AGAIN!!!

Business description (1)

At Gordon's Fine Wine & Liquors the friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist you in choosing wines, craft beers and ciders and domestic and foreign beers. There are two other Gordon's locations, one on Moody St. and another in Watertown.

Tips about this business (4)

Save Money: Bottles tagged as values throughout the store jump out from the packed shelves. Some wines are as low as $4.99. Half bottles are on sale in a variety of vintages. A purchase of six or more gets a percentage discount.

What to Drink: Need help choosing from all the wines on offer? Stop in at one of the classes put on by Gordon's Fine Wine and Culinary Center, a wine classroom and demo kitchen. Check the website for a full schedule.

Parking: Parking in this busy commercial district can be tough, but plenty of metered spots, or a space in the store's lot, should give you ample parking room.

Fun Fact: Drinking with a big Red Sox fan? Check out the Sauvignyoouuk Blanc from Longball Cellars. Although we can't vouch for its actual quality, the name alone deserves consideration.
