I had a horrible experience with this company. The movers damaged my personal items and First Call refuses to process my claim.

Where do I start? First Call Movers is a moving broker. FIRST MISTAKE! They bid me low then when the actual moving company came ( Reliable Low Cost Moving) they bid me an extra $700 ON MOVING DAY! If that wasn't bad enough, they lost a custom end table and when I put in a claim, it was denied....after waiting 4 months. THEY STOLE THE TABLE. When they came to unload, it was an unmarked truck...

I got my stuff with a big hole on my coffee table, damages and missing pieces of my day bed. We filed a claim and the answer is DENIED why ? "No notations noted on the delivery documents" Although on the same day we called the company and ask for what we need to do, they told us to file a claim so we did what they told us to do.

Sue them.  It won't cost much to sue them in small claims.  If your stuff is still out there, that should get them to move a bit faster.

After reading all the horror stories about First Call Movers, and everything everyone has said about them is so true.  I have experienced a true nightmare with this company. They picked up my household goods on 9/24/2013, and was to be delivered on 10/15/2013.  Today is December 11.2013 and I have not received any belongings as of today.  Everytime I call I hear a different story, no one tells...
