This dimly-lit pub, located close to downtown Plano, has an Irish feel to it that won't fail to charm you. Decked with an ever-changing selection of bottled and draft beer and a great variety of pub classics such as fish and chips, make this place a regular haunt for locals and tourists alike. Our favorite snack is the homemade onion rings with a spicy mayo, perfect accompaniment for a cold...
Punky tattooed servers are probably the last thing you’d expect to find in old-lace downtown Plano. But at Fillmore Pub, which opened on the main drag last year, nearly everyone on staff has ink. Most are Dallas transplants, and many are alumni of the Old Monk, where Fillmore owners Gabe Whatley and Kelly Wesner and chef Kirk Mexia once worked. Fillmore borrows the Old Monk’s Irish pub theme,...
In order to feel right, a pub must have: snugs; wood; something delicious to eat that’s unequivocally bad for you; and space to hang out and talk. If it’s firing on all cylinders, it should also be a place where you don’t mind seeing a kid or two on a Sunday afternoon, a place where someone might just break into song. A pub, at its best, fosters community and warms you like comfort food. The...
In Short
The DART rail swooshes by just a few yards away from the Fillmore Pub while Plano denizens hunker down for beer and a meal. The large showroom has a casual vibe and basks in the...
This place is packed every time I go by so I was anxious to try it. My son and I are attempting to identify the best burger in Dallas and surrounding areas and this place has them so it was a must on the list. I can't say we were disappointed. We went on Sunday morning around 11AM and for once it wasn't too crowded. The atmosphere it wonderful and the service was outstanding. The Pomme Frites...
Had been here on a weekend, the place is very upbeat, they had good beer options.. their burgers are delicious and filling..Very friendly waiters. place doesn't burn a hole in your pocket..would definitely go again.
Love it at lunch. Very relaxed, great staff, good food and a good beer selection. Never seen it crowded at lunch which I guess is bad for them but good for me. Prefer it to Vickery Park across the street, that's for sure.
The waitresses were cool, the drinks are strooong, and the prices were good. It's a pretty dark atmosphere, but good for small groups
For my 100th review I was hopeful of writing a rave review of a local favorite. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.We went in, found a table and sat down. Our server came to take the drinks...

It has an Irish pub theme, from fish and chips to the plentiful beers on tap. The crunchy, beer-battered fish—long strips of Atlantic cod—come with house-made tartar sauce and fat, rectangular steak fries. We also like the meaty-tasting Irish stew with chunks of beef, carrot, and potato.
Plano denizens rejoiced when this Irish pub-themed bar opened up in historic downtown. Expect fish and chips—crunchy, beer-battered fish—long strips of Atlantic cod—and plentiful beers on tap. Service is friendly and drinks are delivered in appropriately shaped glasses.
