With impressive chandeliers and mahogany paneling to cast a glow upon the white linen and crystal, the setting of The Federalist displays its objective: to be a powerhouse of conspicuously elegant (or elegantly conspicuous) consumption. Crowd seems a bit older, and willing to drop the cash, however. We liked
everything we had, and I was fairly impressed with the wine selection.
Almost overwhelming. Service was quite good, and the desserts were
very good as well. Recommended if you don't mind the price.
