Nice Hotel In Quiet Location

The hotel is above average and a nice hotel tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. No worries about parking or the hustle and bustle of a large city's downtown area. The breakfast in the morning was free and hot. The hotel was Ok.

Need a place to stay while we were waiting for our daughter to fly in from Los Angeles. She was getting in very late and we didn't want to hang out in Oakland. We decided to get a room and make an adventure out of it.. Saving time over the bridge and being able to relax.
What a pleasant surprise...

This hotel is conveniently located close to the freeway. This is my second stay since I love that Starbucks, subway, and 7-11 are located in the same plaza. The hotel offers free continental breakfast from 6-10. Free wifi. Free parking. Great escape for the busy Bay Area.

Remodel continuing

Last year, a major re-do of the lobby spaces was underway. This year, much of it is completed and the rooms are undergoing a face lift now. The new furnishings are more contemporary, the new carpeting and flooring make a big difference, and new wallpaper in the guest rooms was nice.

This is the second time this year at this hotel. They are in the process of remodeling and it is going very slow since the remodel was under way both times months apart.
