So much of early learning is visual. Helping kids see clearly is central to Eye Care for Kids mission. School nurses help identify low-income, uninsured students who need glasses. Approximately 100 area doctor volunteer the eye exams and donors help underwrite a free pair of glasses for these children.

I care about Kids Eye Care because when I was in the third grade, I got my 1st pair of glasses when I discovered that "it is possible to see the faces of the passengers in the next car.. I'd like to see every child's 1st eye screening before school age. University of Houston has an amazing University Eye Institute!!! Go Cougars!!!
