Beware if you are a Davis Vision customer with Eye Associates of North Jersey. This provider is listed on Davis's website as an in-network provider. As an in-network provider, I should only pay a $10 copay and the rest of the exam is covered. I and my family went for routine eye exams. I was billed for $137 for each exam. When I went for a follow up, they wouldn't even see me until I paid my bill, which ironically they admit "just went out in the mail the other day". So, I paid the bill and asked the billing person why I was billed more than the $10 copay, I found out that they don't bill Davis Vision or any vision coverage provider because "they are medical doctors and only bill your medical insurance carrier". I explained that they are listed as an in-network provider, but it fell on deaf ears. I will DEFINITELY never use this office again and have requested that Davis Vision remove them as an in-network provider.
