My experience with Evins was a horrible nightmare, to say the least.

After talking one of the employees I went in for my initial interview regarding one of the jobs I had applied for. I spent nearly 45 minutes filling out the application and answering math problems and word problems (similar to things on standardized tests). I was then brought over to with one of the employees for about 5 minutes. It was basically a pointless conversation where she just took my information. I then left and went home.

I was never called in for a job by evins. Not even notified for a interview. I wonder if they even try marketing my resume. The recruiters are very callous and short with certain people. They typically respond that way when questioned on the issue. I try to call in at certain times regarding any jobs openings. Im then told to hold as if they are searching for any jobs suitable. Since 1996 I have used Evins to find work when I am not taking classes or between full time jobs. They have always found great temp jobs for me. In fact, my permanent job I have right now I found while temping via Evins! It's best to dress nicely, bring a good comprehensive resume on paper and be able to email a digital copy as well so the recruiter can modify it quickly to pass along to clients. Sure they have a little turn over with the recruiters, but this is just common for the business. A few times I have had to follow up with them but they are always very polite. Compared to other...
