We stop here every time we're headed to the Variety. It's a dive bar with diverse clientele, a few TVs if you need to catch the score (but they're not the center of the world), an interesting and affordable tap selection and good staff. Very off-beat, great food. Brunswick stew, where else can you get it homemade? Local hangout with a local atmosphere, been there for years and years.

Great spot in the heart of Little Five Points. Some people bring children in but I would not recommend it. One side can get pretty smoky. Beer prices are very reasonable and the food is actually really good. Get the tater tots! Perfect spot for people watching...there's a large window often open to the street on nice days.
