I rented when my car went into the shop for repair due to someone hitting me. The person who hit me had insurance and it was covering everything.
I was told that all they had were mini-vans, but I could drop by or call the next day to get a smaller car. The insurance company only allowed 22.80 per day for a rental car and Devin told me she would give me the rental for that price. I was to be charged for taxes and told her I did not think I should have to pay for that. I called the insurance company and they took care of that, no prop. What I did not realize, even though I looked at this on my contract, was the $30.00 vehicle price per day. It simply said vehicle: $30.00/day. I did not even think about this for some reason because she said she was going to fix the price, well they kept my 50.00 deposit and now tell me I owe them about $6 bucks. Talk about very dishonest people. If you are going to not give me the deal on the price like you spurted out of your mouth to me then perhaps you had just better not say anything at all. But that is how you work your black magic now isn't it? I will just bet you anything you had several small cars available around there somewhere and you chose not to rent them to me. I will remember this in the future when I go to rent a car. I know many people who have used you in the past and after hearing my story they assure me they will also go elsewhere.
Shame on me for not noticing that charge, but what you did here was wrong as well and you know it.
