At an over $3000 per month price tag this place is actually less expensive than some, but the care is not very good. Both my parents lived there and it is dirty, it has roaches, the food is subpare and all people care about is the money it makes and the investors. but its the best we can afford.

Our mother is presently in the memory care unit on the second floor. The unit is understaffed. If your on top of things your relative "should" be OK. The squeeky wheel gets the oil as the saying goes. We have had incidents where are mother was neglected by staff because she is difficult to deal with due to her condition. The director of the facility and the head of nursing dont return phone...

My sister and I visited an Emeritus facility in Boynton Beach on Jog Road on Dec 6, 2011 to discuss respite care for our mother and possible long term assisted living...what a shock!!! The place was dirty and disgusting..........furniture beat up, carpets filthy..while the marketing gal was very pleasant and did her best to play it up we couldn't get out of there fast enough ...quite honestly...

Agree, they are understaffed. Had 2 occasions with Mom where she fell. 1st time took over 1 1/2 hrs. to get help after she pushed the button. The 2nd they didn't show up at all & she had to manage to get up herself in the middle of the night. They are very nice when you speak to them & seem caring but they don't seem to provide the help when really needed.
