I stayed here with a school group. The rooms are big and very nice. The breakfast was very good and the lounge area very comfortable. Clean room, great family atmosphere. Easy to get to and close to the old Sacramento Downtown. Food and extras at this hotel are very good. Nice place, but did mislead us about the type of room we were getting. They also gave us a room right next to the freeway. Very noisy. Not happy at all. Location was convenient. Complex was very nice. Breakfast buffet as great.

Careful when selecting City View

Overall I like staying at Embassy Suites. Be careful if offered a City View room; those come with freeway noise. Otherwise, the drive to the convention center is manageable and you can walk to Il Forniao.
