A symbol of the rich history in LA, El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument is the site where Los Angeles was originally founded. Now comprised of 26 historic buildings spread over 44 acres (18 ha), it is the site of the world famous Olvera Street Mexican marketplace, and countless other festivities.
