The land and parks are amazing. Those running the parks disrespectful to Ohlone people when they divided to make a parking lot on a sacred site at Mission Peak. Also the fact that the native people who lived on this land for 10,000 years have to pay fees and ask for permission to camp is absurd. THE PARK DISTRICT SHOULD BE PAYING THE OHLONE A STIPEND. The disrespect continues.

My family and I camp and boat at Del Valle for over 10 years now. We go there at least once a year to camp and take our boat there 3-4 times during the summer. We love to go there. We love the regional parks because of our locale, getting out to see nature is important to me and my family.
