I'm 22 and just received dental insurance through my job, and of course, I messed up. I went to Dr. Dolman for a consultation regarding my wisdom teeth (which should have been removed years ago), and the staff quickly realized that he didn't accept my insurance. (Yep, I'm that ignorant when it comes to insurance stuff.)

Let me start this off by saying I am absolutely horrified by anything and everything that involves teeth. So, when I found out I had to get my wisdom teeth out (I'm 24 and waited far too long), I was in a pretty dark place, darker, even, than my impacted wisdom teeth.

I did an incredible amount of research, promising myself I'd only commit to an oral surgeon if I knew for sure that he/she was the best in the business. I live in New York, so this took a long time. Dr. Dolman is by far one of the best professionals I've encountered in the field of medicine -- not just dentistry.
I went to him for wisdom tooth extraction during a time when I was dealing with 5 other issues a couple of months ago. He's extremely thorough, patient and puts your mind at ease -- especially helpful for patients like me, who are terrified of getting novocaine shots. Excellent with following up and checking on you. Brilliant doctor from start to finish.

I recently saw Dr. Dolman for a tooth extraction.
In the past, I have had 2 teeth taken out, root canals, gum surgery, you name it- i had it (or at least it feels that way)...all by different dentists.
