My husband and I had a very nice evening at Donovan's and I would have liked to have said it was the best...but it fell short in small ways. I only eat steak every once in a while and this steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had a vegetable medley and wished there was more than what was on my plate. The service was amazing.

We stopped by mid-afternoon to check it out, have a drink and appetizer. Service, drinks and appetizers were good so we made reservations for a couple hours later. Came back at 7:00 for dinner and wife ordered a pound of king crab for $70 and I ordered ribeye for $58. Very very disappointed.

We went last night as a late Valentine's Day dinner. We normally go to Morton's for steak but thought we'd try something different. Wife had the king crab and petite fillet, I had the bone in New York. From the service, atmosphere and the food everything was at or above our expectations. Being from NYC and eating in the BEST steakhouses we thought that being recommended to Donovans we would be within par what our group was used to .
We had an 8:15 reservation and did not sit tile 9:15 .. The one waiter servicing our area took an hour to get our appetizers then another hour to get the main...

Trophy's offers sports fans an excellent place to watch the game on their modern, flat-panel televisions. The pub is right near Petco Park, so after ball games, most folks stroll right down to Trophy's for a pint and something to eat.
