Prices Need To Come Down

Been going for 12 years now but I go once a month instead of once a week. Just seems prices get a lil steep. If they were affordable they just be swamped day and night. Coupons?promotions?Something! Good cooks and good staff. Food is delicious!

Don Jose is a Castro Valley go to

Been here for large group dinners, after work drinks, with the family, as a couple and for several coaches meetings. Great place for any size party. Good drinks, good food, local, good parking.

Melted cheese plates

If you like tasteless, gooey melted cheese plates you'll like this place. I tried them out when I first moved here 25 years ago and they were awful. Every once in a while I try again thinking maybe they've changed to something more authentic but...

Unfortunately, the service was bad and the food was worse. I've been here a couple of time over a year ago. It was passable then but seems like they're spiraling downward. I hope they can get it together.
