THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Django Gypsy Kitchen & Saloon Restaurant Review

The inspiration for this intimate, beautifully-lit and artfully-crafted space is Gypsy jazz musician Django Reinhardt. The décor and menu are designed to reflect the melding of seemingly disparate cultures: Asia, Latin America, North Africa and the European Mediterranean. Painted coconuts dot a plaster wall. Rough-hewn bread troughs are fitted with found industrial objects, and rest easily on...

Hipsters flock to this eclectic Midtown hot spot to get their groove on.

In Short

Great vibe, bad food

Average Rating

This restaurant is in a new and trendy part of Buckhead. The decor is fantastic and the atmosphere around the bar is vibrant. The great outdoor porch will definitely be a happening location in warmer weather. However, the food amounts to fancy overpriced bar food. Such a let down! Go for drinks, not for eats. Hopefully they will fix this...

New spot to be "seen" - and eat some great food

The newest spot in Buckhead where the "in-crowd" is gathering... Owners Chris Hadermann and JP Piemonte (Think Tin Lizzy's and Big Ketch) have put together a fantastic Spanish inspired venue with a wrap around outdoor deck that is begging for next spring to hurry up and get here! The Restaurant is really nicely done in terms of atmosphere - it...

I went with some friends to this new place in Buckhead. I found the vibe vibrant and fun. The service was a little slow but the food was fairly similar to that of food of Spain. I would recommend this place to others but I would tell management to better take care of its guests on an initial seating and...

brand new and totally bustling with people on a thursday night. I cannot wait to see what it looks like on a wknd. The food and service was very good. I dont mind loud places, but this was really noisy... that would be the only negative. The whole fish - Bransini I think was great. I would definetely go back...

Bad food & Service with nice decor

I will start out by saying that Gypsy kitchen is in a premium location with a cool atmosphere. The group I was with decided to start out with a bunch of tapas/apps and then we would decide to buy more items. After getting our 5/6 apps and drinks we just closed up our tab and went down to Shake Shack.......

Where to Sit

For more privacy on a romantic night out, request a seat on the upper loft, where the dim red lighting sets the mood.

What to Drink

The martini menu offers plenty of picks; try the signature Djangotini, a cross between a cosmopolitan and a pina colada.

When to Go

Catch live flamenco music and belly dancers on Thursday nights, and live burlesque and jazz on Saturdays.
