Dive into food and fun at the Downtown Aquarium – an underwater adventure! Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Denver is the Downtown Aquarium, an incredible dining and entertainment complex featuring 1.25 million gallons of aquarium exhibits. Amusements for the entire family plus the unique Aquarium Restaurant, Dive Lounge, Nautilus Ballroom, 4D Theater, Stingray Reef, hundreds of...
The aquarium, located on Water Street, ironically, includes a 150,000 gallon tank where you can eat lunch or dinner while viewing the sea...

It's nice to have an aquarium in land-locked Colorado, of course, but not sure it's worth the admission price. With all the other things to do in Denver, the Front Range, and the mountains, would pass on this one.
VERY disappointed! We reserved a 50 year old birthday party there for a semi private area two weeks in advanced. When we arrived they had given the room to another party who purchased a $25.00 membership. They never called us to let us know, and proceeded to seat us at the worst place possible, near a wall where you couldn't even see the fish. We had out of town guest too. We’ll never go again.\r

To upgrade to fries from potato chips it's $2 and you get about 8 steak fries. The cheesecake you could tell isn't homemade. As far as the ambiance, I went for the fun and romance of an undersea experience and in return looked at silver fish and outdated...
I am not able to review the Aquarium itself since we just stopped in for lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant. The food selection was good, though overpriced for sure. However, the food was so so at best. Grilled chicken was burned and the sandwich just fell apart. The kids ""mac and cheese"" was literally mac and cheese out of the box, gooey and bright yellow - not appetizing whatsoever and the price for that is ridiculous. The hostess wouldn't let us sit at a table by the fish tank, stating those were for ""reservations"" even though tons of those tables remained empty during the entire...
