Comfortable room but the big plus for this motel for non-motorists is the location. It is adjacent to the State Fairgrounds and several very good bus routes to downtown Detroit and Birmingham and Pontiac pass close by.
The price of the rooms is also reasonable compared with Downtown Detroit.

The Delido Motel is on Woodward Ave and about 1/2 mile north of such luxurious accomodations as the LaRenaissance and Crown Motels in the Highland Park area. The Delido Motel is slightly nicer and safer which means you have a better then 50 percent chance of surviving a night without being assaulted or held up. Take my advise and just keep going north on Woodward Ave until you hit the suburbs....
