We've been coming in here for years for the "slam burgers" and beers. Most recently
brought the family and an out of town guest. We each ordered a different burger, which was cooked to perfection. The fries were good, could have been a little crispier, for my taste.
Though this is a bar,( and grill), our grandchildren were allowed inside...

3 of us come in and sit at the bar, The bartender walks by us twice without a hello or acknowledgement of any kind. She then proceeds to ignore us and do anything but serve us. There are mirrors behind the cash register, she did to see us. After 10 minuets of this we left. Not to return ever. Which sucks cause it …

Danny's Palm Bar & Grill has been a  staple in Coronado since 1907.   Known on the island for their award-winning Slam Burger, one guest commented, "Thank you baby Jesus for this succulent burger."  (True story.)  Be sure to order their shoestring fries or crunchy onion rings too.  This neighborhood bar draws a crowd of  longtime locals, tourists and Navy Seals...
