Editorial reviews from the web (3)

Retired firemen, faux-slumming Wall Streeters, and aspiring alcoholics crowd this Chuck E. Cheese for the paunchy set. Grab-the-lobster mechanical claw to satisfy your masochistic streak. Pool tables hosting geeky shark leagues and foosball recapturing basement memories. Cheap and yummy bar eats, unsurprisingly grease-laden. No sissies allowed. So they say.

For those that miss the long-gone days of the college frathouse, Dakota Roadhouse offers a milieu reminiscent of the classically testosterone-infused dormitories, complete with sports games projected in massive glory on huge screens.

Where Wall Street suits kick back with a brew and reconnect with their masculinity.

If the Marquis de Sade had been commissioned to design an urban redneck bar, he just might have come up with something like this. How else to account for the working mousetraps...

This place is definitely a dive. There have been several office happy hours at this establishment. It makes for a good and cheap outting. Whats uncomfortable is sitting with superiors at Happy Hour…

Business description (4)

Since 2000 the company has been providing Retail - Bar (drinking Places).

Dakota Roadhouse Corp is located at 43 Park Pl @Church St, New York, NY. This location is in the Chelsea neighborhood. This business specializes in Restaurants.

The Financial District is the unlikely setting for this divey “rural roadhouse” where an “interesting mix” of “blue-collar” types and “after-work peeps” congregate for cheap swill, billiards and foosball; despite the totally “random” scene, many find themselves “hanging out here for hours and hours.”

One step inside this rollicking roadhouse, and you'll instantly feel as if you've been transported to some American redneck town, where the word "Tribeca" means absolutely nothing. Cheap beer, "cheeseburger" fries, and mousetraps behind the bar clutching spare money are all fact here, and the crowd is a steady mix of locals, after-work passerby and bikers (yes, bikers). Billiards fans delight...
