Do yourself a favor and skip the kid stuff - go right to the ultimate - The Buster Bar. Fudge and salty spanish peanuts with the Dairy queen softserve and the whole thing dipped in chocolate coating. It's everything you want.

This is no reflection on this particular Dairy Queen, it's the franchise in general. I have enjoyed Dairy Queen soft serve for over a half a century. But, I have found much better quality ice cream and at a much more reasonable price. I can't believe the small portions you get anymore. A medium cone looks like what they used to call a kiddy cone years ago.
