This is a gem. Gourmet food paired with wonderful art. I had a light supper here which included a red quinoa salad with cherries, chicken cheese quesdadillas and a nice glass of California white wine. Plan to include lunch or Thursday dinner at the Art Cafe as part of your visit to the Crocker Museum.
Typically, cafes at museums and galleries are not geared for the repeat diner, but the Cafe at the Crocker is an exception. The kitchen staff has an almost compulsive need to produce great food. When one realizes that the kitchen is run by the Supper Club crew, it suddenly makes sense. Good variety, fresh ingredients, tastefully presented.
