Loved it so much when I visited in Feb. Went back on Sat. only to find it closed!!!! What happened? There was no notice saying they moved just papered covered windows. So sad. It really was a great place. Hope they come back.

Kai is the best

Went there Friday for dinner and dessert. We were greeted by Kai the manager. He was so nice. He calmly told us that the hostess and bartender had called in and weren't coming. Now I'd be a frazzled mess but we watched Kai (with ease) play bartender, host, gelato scooper and waiter. I wouldn't doubt it if he ran in...

The staff was very friendly, so would rate higher than 3 stars on that side. I stopped in here late, after the kitchen was closed, and grabbed a panini. Presentation was good, taste was okay. Good place to stop if you need food and it's nearing the midnight hour.

Cremolose, the Gaslamp’s newest European café and specialty dessert restaurant highlighted by the authentic Italian gelato imported from Italy, opened January 25th, 2012 at 840 5th Avenue, Suite 100 in the Gaslamp Quarter. With 40 locations throughout Europe, this will be the first Cremolose location in the United States.
