Operations may be disrupted due to COVID-19. Be sure to contact the restaurant to find out its current status and offerings.Cowgirl Seahorse Restaurant Review

An outpost of the longstanding West Village eatery, Cowgirl Hall of Fame, this downtown spot trades in its white trash theme for a nautical one and a menu that, not surprisingly, focuses more on the fruits of the sea than the fruits of the trailer park. Bold-flavored (if a little greasy) coconut shrimp make for a good starter. The seafood gumbo---served in either a cup or a bowl---might be an...

"Down-to-earth" says it all about this West Village Southwesterner slinging "decent" chow in a "kitschy", "retro rodeo" setting that's "kid-friendly" by day and a "high-octane" margaritaville after dark; the Seaport satellite gets a "fishy spin" with a seafood focus.

Cowgirl Sea Horse Reopens; the Treme Cookbook

FIDI ? South Street Seaport restaurant Cowgirl Sea Horse is reopening tonight with a performance by the bluegrass band The Crusty Gentlemen. Team Sea Horse is still working on the kitchen, but the restaurant will at least be open for drinks. [EaterWire]

PROSPECT HEIGHTS ? The groovy Brooklyn bar Bearded Lady is closing for renovations from November 19 to 26. On Sunday November 18, the bar is...

Cowgirl Hall of Fame in the West Village, now known simply as Cowgirl, is mother to Cowgirl SeaHorse in the financial district. Father is the memory of city roadhouses long gone. Like the Hall of Fame, SeaHorse is open and fun — and a house margarita paired with warm, salty tortilla chips does much to recall the freak flagship's mood of tolerance. Have a roasted jalapeño stuffed with shrimp,...

Business description (5)

Cowgirl Seahorse first opened its doors in July of 2009. It was founded by Sherry Delamarter who has over 30 years of NYC restaurant experience including Tortilla Flats, Gulf Coast, and our sister restaurant, Cowgirl in the West Village. A cozy, offbeat corner in Lower Manhattan, Seahorse is a great place to meet for a quiet drink or to celebrate a special occasion.

Cowgirl Sea Horse, Inc. was founded in 2009. The company is located in New York and incorporated in New York. Cowgirl Sea Horse, Inc. specializes in Retail - Family Restaurants.

The Sea Horse is the kind of easygoing, bright, breeze of a restaurant that just feels right for long brunches and early happy hours. It is a seafood/comfort food/Tex-Mex hoedown of a restaurant from the vintage-minded crazies behind West Village standby Cowgirl. Cowgirl Seahorse is open for lunch and dinner, so that no matter what time you’re craving a delicious meal, they can always satisfy...

Wall's Street's one helluva rodeo ride these days. Call in the Cowgirl! Chef-owner Sherry Delamarter is behind this Seaport offshoot of her West Village Cowgirl restaurant, offering a tighter version of her original comfort-foody menu plus a hefty selection of surf grub. "I'm calling it the three S's—we're gonna serve Southern, Southwestern and seafood," Delamarter says. That means crabcakes,...
