The sandwiches are all I have tried so far, but they were outstanding. Not the usual ho-hum type of sandwich. Give it a try. Have also had Debbie's catering at a party and was very impressed. Would use her again!

The Reggie burger is my favorite! Who knew a fried egg on a hamburger could be so good?! The Crab cakes (any way you get them) are some of the best around. I also really like their homemade jalepeno coleslaw. Three weeks open and I'm impressed.

Two things stand out about Congress St. Bar & Grill, for me at least. First, the food is good. The burgers are good, since they are the same as Rooster's. The nachos are awesome. Second, they are open late, which will hopefully help the downtown scene. Since I work later in the day, it's really convenient. Thumbs up.

One of the easiest ways to determine if a restaurant is any good is simply, "Can they cook a good burger?" I regret the answer is no for Congress Street Bar and Grill. I ordered the jalapeno and cheese burger with fries. What I got was a tasteless burger with less than 12 fries. Even worse, the cheese was on top of the lettuce not on the burger (a poor construction move in my opinion). If this...
