I agree with the girl who wrote the review about animals being left outside 2 or years ago when we had that cold weather and snow my next door neighbor who is in service and was called to help left his dog out in the snow no one checking on him dog siting on the deck looking for his owner no one feeding him a neighbor and I started putting food and water under gate when I went to cobb county I...

We are an open admissions shelter, providing services for approximately 15,000 annually.

Cobb County established Animal Control in 1971 as part of the county's Department of Public Safety. Cobb County Animal Control enforces state laws and county ordinances in regard to animal control and management as well as educates the public about responsible pet ownership and wildlife care. This department also provides housing, care and adoption for homeless animals.
