I have been a tailor in the wardrobe union for over 30 years and after my favorirte sewing maching store went out of business I went to sew pros to buy a new maching after 20 years and DID I REGRERT IT! I purchased a Phaff which was extremely over priced for an old machine, which woudl not have been so bad it it had ever been working properly. But it was not working well from the day I got it. Tne needle threader was broken and the tension never worked right. The owner Stewart and his son blamed it on the wrong needles and threads, which I changed repeatedly and then three months later...

I used to love em. . now I hate em. they charged over 250 dollars to service my machine and do a little work, , , then it wouldn't work properly. . . I got it back to them just in tim to have htem look it over. They got it back and said there were no problemsa. . . .I was UNABLE to sew for several month because I was sick. . . my ELNA had stopped sewing. no I have NEVER dropped it I HATE EM and I may never go back again and definitely won't be shopping there any more

+ honest and all around knowledgable

Cons

- Well, I am inpatient and always want my machine back NOW

at sew pros I get to get my machine serviced, but they have an excellent amount of Guterman thread at a great price, sewing machine accessories and they are VERY helpful. . . they are all all around GREAT place to shop and do business
