Cielo Restaurant Review

Perched eight floors over the riverfront, Cielo isn't the highest restaurant in St. Louis, but the wide-open feel created by the floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive rooftop deck certainly gives diners the sense of having transcended the earth for awhile. The menu ranges from antipasti (octopus, beet tartare) to pastas such as carrot ravioli and arugula pappardelle, and NY strip steak and...

Valentine's dinner with my fiancé. Overall food and service was excellent, although our salads needed more dressing. Reservations were made with request to sit by the windows (for an awesome view!), and they did not disappoint. The noise level increased as the evening progressed, but will definitely be going back. Ridiculously overpriced. $192 for dinner for two, without any drinks is a little steep. The food was "fancy" looking, but not great. For example, the short ribs had a ton of fat and grissle still not rendered, and the fish skin was not cooked properly. I've spent half the price, got two drinks and way better food. Would not recommend.
