Cibo Urban Pizzeria Cafe Restaurant Review

The pioneer in downtown Phoenix’s restaurant revolution was this lovely little pizzeria. Housed in a wood-floored bungalow built in 1913, this palace to 'za and wine bar oozes charm by way of small, cozy dining rooms, wood-trimmed doorways, original built-in cabinetry and exposed brick. Most nights, customers jostle around the u-shaped bar in the main room, drinking Italian wine and locally...

For the pioneers who've invested in Phoenix's less-than-lively downtown, Cibo (which means food in Italian) is a godsend. Best atmosphere. Worst pizza. Ever!!! Bland sausage, bland cheese, bland and watery tomato sauce. Rubbery calamari with noncomplimentary sauce. I have no idea what the hype is all about.

If you're in downtown Phoenix and you want some Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place to go. The Diavola pizza is very tasty with a beer. Although their beer selection is sub par compared to places like Mellow Mushroom.

AMAZING FOOD! The outside patio is so pretty at night too. There are lights and pretty vines everywhere. We got the Diablo pizza and the calamari and it was so yummy. I have already recommended it to my family and I will definitely be going back again soon.

Haven't been in awhile due to a move to the East Valley but, my, oh my, I do love that place. Now it's back in my mind I'll have to think of a reason to get over to that side of town!

I really enjoyed this place. Let me start out by saying I'm not a huge fan of Neapolitan style pizzas. I'm more of a New York style pizza fan the Burrata antipasto was delicious and enough for three people! The pizza was good but nothing special but all in all a very good place with great service friendly people and awesome environment

This Central Phoenix urban pizzeria is situated in a restored 1913 bungalow, making it the perfect backdrop for a leisurely lunch or romantic dinner. Exposed brick, hardwood floors, authentic stained glass windows and a working fireplace means that you'll have much to admire while you nosh on your salad, antipasti, made-from-scratch pasta or artisanal pizza. Each pizza is made-to-order and...
