My husband Glenn and I went to Christmas Lumber July 7th 2011 to see what their plywood looked like. We were not impressed with what we saw at Lowes. The guys at Christmas told us to go out back and have a look see. We did, and what we saw was in great condition and not warped at all. We bought 8 pcs and 1lb of wood screws with special drill bit. They informed us of their free delivery, but shouldn't expect delivery for a day or two. To our surprise, they delivered the next day. These guys aren't always the cheapest, nor do they stock everything that Lowe's or Home Depot does. But I don't want them to. I want them to keep being the service-oriented, old fashioned type of building supply store that they are. The guys at the desk remember people's names, they know where you are building, they know what stuff you typically need. They call when a balance is due on your account, not because they want you to pay but because they don't want to have to charge you interest when it gets past the 10th of the month.
