Come and learn how to heal as Jesus healed. Study, pray, discuss ideas with others. Study resources include Bibles, writings by Mary Baker Eddy on healing, current and archived articles on how to heal and over 100 years of documented healings through the teachings of Christian Science.

Mary Baker Eddy founded The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston in 1866. The Encinitas congregation has been active since the 1920s, and the reading room has been at its present location on 2nd Street since April 2010. The reading room is very peaceful, providing church members with quiet study and prayer.

The Christian Science Reading Room doubles as both a bookstore and a meeting place for services. The reading room within the bookstore invites browsing and reading of Christian Science materials. The bookstore closes for Wednesday night services. Visitors and interested learners are always welcome.
