Fun and Fitness through Chinese Martial Arts
At the Chinese Martial Arts Fitness School students receive education in “Traditional Kung Fu” and “Contemporary WuShu“. Students will get to learn self defense that works in real life situations.
Learning how to fight in real life is different from learning how to fight in organized martial arts tournaments. Tournaments have a referee present to make sure no one breaks the rules that both fighters agreed to follow before fighting each other: Other fighting situations you encounter have have no rules and losing can be fatal.
At Pasadena’s Chinese Martial Arts Fitness School every student’s education includes learning Traditional and Contemporary WuShu Kung Fu forms that develop stamina, strength, balance, grace, focus, patience and discipline. While forms are not applied to real life fighting situations, understanding the fighting application of forms develops a deeper understanding of fighting that results in better real life fighting skills.
Our WuShu Kung Fu martial arts fitness classes are perfect for children, teenagers, and young adults. As students, children will enjoy training in classes packed full of fun and exciting activities including Running, Jumping, Fighting, Gymnastics, Ancient Traditional Kung Fu Forms, New Contemporary Competition Forms, Self Defense Training , San Da Competition Fighting Training, Weapons Training and much more.
