I can pay the same price to adopt a new pet as I have to pay get my dog back that the kids let out!! that is UNREAL! really makes me mad!

Drove down from Omaha on a Sunday. Waited for over 20 mins. to make eye contact with anyone behind the counter--then was told that I needed to sign in. There was no place indicating I needed to sign in, and the counters were surrounded with people trying to be served. I was then told I couldn't adopt because they cut off adoptions 30 minutes prior to closing, and there were only two minutes...

Lousy place that way over-charges for the animals and all of their services. They blame it on the city but for the horrible, rude customer service, and dirty and smelly way the place is kept they are lucky people even go in there. We adopted a kitten and it had to go to the Vet within 24 hours really sick with respiratory and other stuff- twice in 4 days. The kitten died and they wouldn't pay Vet bills, return our adoption fee, or let us get another animal even with our Vet's statement that it was sick before we got it. Completely unprofessional.

They also don't give Rabies shots before...
